RIVERS OF MY FATHER
Focusing on childhood memories of my father growing up in colonial India, Rivers of My Father is a kaleidoscopic documentary that explores the fluid and transient nature of memory in the aftermath of death. Diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and vascular dementia, this film was shot during the last few years of my father’s life and completed three years after his death, this work is a reflexive piece about how time informs our relationship to memories.
