500 KHz: Above the Sea & Below the Sky

This sound work engages with Dover's South Foreland Lighthouse from which Guglielmo Marconi sent the first international wireless transmission in 1899. It featured on DAD RADIO, a weekly radio segment on Dover Community Radio dedicated to sound art & music, poetry, spoken word and arts-led conversation. Available here

AMP: neurodivergence & sonic spaces

AMP (Accessible Music Productions) was a monthly music workshop run by HOME Manchester in partnership with Venture Arts, a charity based in Hulme that supports neurodiverse artists. Featuring the workshop participants and facilitators, this audio/visual piece captures the process of collaborative music making through the construction and layering of sounds, exploring how internal and external environments inform sonic spaces. 20/20 Sensory Arts Festival

Working alongside community interest company Touchbase Care, Dominic was the organiser and curator of this innovative three day online arts festival. 20/20 Sensory Arts Festival explored the theme of the senses through a variety of performances, workshops and interactive events across a wide selection of artistic disciplines. All live streams included subtitled, BSL and audio described versions making it the first fully accessible arts festival of its kind.

The Remedy Sessions

Due to the success of the pilot episode on Unity Radio, The Remedy Sessions was developed into a podcast that Dominic co-hosts with Manchester based music artist and content creator HUKZ. Produced by mental health company Kooth for their Qwell service, The Remedy Sessions focused on aspects of male mental health that are not widely discussed. Available here

Nighthawks

Nighthawks was a late night radio show presented by Dominic on Unity Radio that combined music, interviews and discussions. The aim of the programme was to showcase diverse creative practice with untold stories informed by lived experience. Available here

Mind the Gaps

Working in partnership with Screen South and Touchbase Care, Dominic delivered a 6 month project running weekly filmmaking workshops for adults with disabilities. Dominic would continue to mentor a number of his students after the project ended, some of which have gone on to become talented filmmakers in their own right.
