
Dominic Pillai is a multidisciplinary artist working across moving image, sound and the written word. He is also an experienced project leader and educator. Trained as a visual anthropologist Dominic is passionate about accessibility, diversity and innovation within this field.

Over the last two decades Dominic has been making short films and video art that have been screened at arts and film festivals globally, most notably the Cannes Film Festival, Folkestone Triennial and Normal? Festival of the Brain
SOUNDS
Over the years Dominic has developed a passion for sound, experimenting with different mediums and showcasing work across a wide range of analogue and digital platforms


MUSIC
Through a mixture of field recordings, samples and electronic sounds Dominic creates work that explores the boundaries between sound, music and noise.
RADIO
Dominic has featured many times as a presenter and contributor on radio stations such as BBC Radio Kent, Academy FM and Dover Community Radio
WORDS
Dominic enjoys the written and spoken word, having been featured in a number of online publications as well as speaking at a variety of public events


SPOKEN
As a creative facilitator Dominic has run workshops for organisations such as Screen South, Touchbase Care and South Kent Mind. He has also given talks at arts festivals and higher education
