Dominic Pillai is a multidisciplinary artist working across moving image, sound and the written word. He is also an experienced project leader and educator. Trained as a visual anthropologist Dominic is passionate about accessibility, diversity and innovation within this field.

MUSIC

Through a mixture of field recordings, samples and electronic sounds Dominic creates work that explores the boundaries between sound, music and noise.

RADIO

Dominic has featured many times as a presenter and contributor on radio stations such as BBC Radio Kent, Academy FM and Dover Community Radio

WRITTEN

Dominic writes fiction and non- fiction, often creating written, audio and video versions of his work. This multi-model approach to writing has developed out of Dominic's belief that knowledge and ideas should be accessible to all.

SPOKEN

Dominic is a regular podcaster and has given talks at arts festivals and higher education on subjects such as arts, ethnicity and mental wellbeing
